The British boxer will face Jake Paul in an eight round match which will be streamed live on Netflix.
British boxer Anthony Joshua declared he will "dominate completely" the American and "overpower" the American as the combatants confronted each other to publicize next month's heavyweight fight.
Former two time unified heavyweight champion Joshua meets social media star turned fighter Paul - in what is, theoretically, a huge disparity - at Miami arena on 19 December.
Fighter's Mindset
"I'm going to damage his features and hurt his body. I'm here to prove I'm the better fighter," the British boxer, 35, said.
"I plan to overwhelm him. That's how fighters think.
"I intend to seriously aim to injure him. That's my goal."
Respectful Exchange
In spite of those words, a relaxed Anthony Joshua and internet personality Paul - normally known for his showmanship - shared friendly words and kept it respectful with each other.
Jake Paul instead attacked ex Joshua opponent the Cameroonian fighter and described him as "not serious" after Ngannou declined a match opportunity.
Taking Aim at Fury
Joshua, at the same time, took aim at British rival Fury - and rejected a million-pound wager 'The Gypsy King' states he will put on a Paul win.
"Jake Paul is superior to Tyson Fury - he showed up," Joshua said.
"I acknowledge that."
Legitimate Opponent
In spite of declaring he will hurt Jake Paul, Anthony Joshua declined to comment unfavorably about his rival's pugilistic talent.
"Jake Paul is a credible opponent," he said.
Jake Paul's History
Jake Paul - who originally gained popularity on the Disney Channel - has mostly fought MMA fighters or faded names since turning professional.
He lost to Briton Tommy Fury in last year.
Financial Success
However, the inexperienced fighter continues to be one of the sport's greatest financial successes, frequently receiving substantial paydays.
Prediction and Belief
The 28-year-old forecast a stoppage in round four or five and asserted he would derail the highly-expected Fury-Joshua bout, which is allegedly being planned for 2026.
"The next fight will be me versus Tyson Fury in the coming year," Paul said.
Physical Difference
As both boxers met for the traditional confrontation, with their physical disparity evident, it drove home just how improbable this entire matchup is - and how astonishing it is that the fight is really proceeding.
